Skrillex - Bangarang (new EP)
Skrillex released his new album we've all be waiting for yesterday, and he did not disappoint. This album is reminiscent of classic rock albums like Dark Side of the Moon. It's got a flow to it that lets it sound like one track instead of separate projects spliced together onto a cd. So far, I'd have to say my favorites are Breakin' a Sweat (ft the Doors), Kyoto, the Devil's Den (feat. Wolfgang Gartner), and Bangarang (ft. Sirah).

Dubstep Spotlight: Fytch

Fytch is quickly becoming one of my favorite dubstep producers in the game. You would really be fucking yourself over if you didn't listen to all of these songs. Just sayin.

Long post is Loooooooooong
I've been on a hiatus lately from posting, and theres no excuse for that. But I do come bringing gifts. Here's my personal picks for the week. I'm bringing old, new, and just plain cool to your music library this week. This is Chris' Picx part 2. Enjoy.
First up, a new twist on a golden oldie by Boston, Long Time. Anger Dimas and Static Revenger to thank for this amazing track.
Next. A great track that gives you everything to like about Wolfgang Gartner in one song. Created by a guy who goes by the name Prototype Raptor (best.name.ever.), this is one to immediately add to your library.

Everyone knows the name if not the music of Jefferson Airplane, especially this song. With that in mind, I stumbled upon this yesterday on soundcloud. Its filthy sounding dubstep. Completely not what I was expecting. Wild.

Next is a rare thing from me, a preview of a track. I usually wait until the full song is released, but I can't this time, its too good already not to know about it. Real chill remix by Minnesota, one of the few that can create dubstep that lowers your pulse instead of making you go crazy. Great work once again. Loving the vocals on this one.
The first mash-up of this post, and its a doozie. Combining Calvin Harris and Arty for a soft house track that is greta for driving or just chillin out. Here ya go, its called Feels so Close to Kate.
Next mash-up needs no explination. Knife Party, Skrillex, Feed Me. Yeah. Have Fun.

Watch the Throne came out, sold out and now we're onto the stage of remixing tracks from the album. Usually rap and dubstep don't go well together, heres one that does. Great mixing by Voodoo Farm, just enough to change the song but keep the integrity of what it was before.

New Shit
Here we go, week two of Haterade and to start if off heres some gems from me to start your monday off right.
First up, Justice. This sounds like Daft Punk of old. No drop on this one but if it doesn't get you tapping your foot, theres something wrong with you. Great work as always.
Next up is something by James Blake, remixed by Deniz Koyo and Johan Wendel. These guys have taken James Blake usually softer feel good tunes and turned it into a hard hitting banger for an situation to get you blood pressure up and people jumping around. This is a definite download. Clink on the DL to hear a listen of the song.
Next up is some wobbing dubstep. This is some heavy stuff be warned. Kill the Noise doesn't mess around. As expected of a Robyn song, the great vocals coupled with dubstep are a great mix.
This is the best remix of beast mode I've heard. Electro House remixing at its best. It keeps all the ill vocals and throws a sick synth and drop under the verses for an epic mix. Check it out.
Last, The King of House, Tiesto. Its called Maximal Crazy. he released it about a week ago. Not bad from him, one of those songs that you can really only enjoy at a live performance, normal speakers aren't good enough. But enough criticism, this is damn good. Download this and throw it into your house party playlist.

New EP dropped a few days ago and it is phenomenal. This is party music at its best. If you like those heavy drops with sweet synths and a great buildup. You'll love this guy. He's done remixes of InnerpartySystem, Avicii, Spencer and Hill and other greats in the electronic genre. This is his foray, and man has he done well. Support him on Beatport by buying this album or if you're cheap like me and can settle for lower quality as long as its free, click here.

Been lookin at the blog and Ive noticed that there's not any dubstep. That changes right now. A lot of people love hard hitting bass music, but its rare that you find really good dubstep that you can listen to over and over. So without further adieu, here's your fixing of bass music for the weekend. I'll be doing one big post a week with varying topics to suit your musical needs.

Benni Benassi isnt my favorite but this, this is amazing, great hook and heavy drop but not some much that u cant listen to it. Remixing at its best. Those of you that went to Ultra will recognize it.
Alright here are two songs from a guy who guys by the name of Fytch. I think he's spanish or something. Anyway, this guys been doing great remixes for a few months. I'm putting up his soundcloud tracks because they're the best versions. UNfortunately, no free downloads off those so I'll include link below them for download.
Guetta, I know he's a sellout, bear with me here. Still a dope song, But he mashes it with everyone's favorite detroit white rapper and an amazing drop. This is a keeper.
